Whole Bean Coffee - Brazil (5lb Bag)
Whole Bean Coffee - Brazil (5lb Bag)
Brazil is the largest coffee supplier in the world with countless coffee farms throughout. We sample several of Brazil's top coffees each year to determine which one will make it to our roasting center. A medium-light roast brings out the nutty and citrus notes and produces a very clean and crisp mouth feel. Some people say they pick up a peanut butter aroma in a bag of the whole bean coffee.
To brew into a 1-Gallon airpot, use 200 grams on a medium to coarse grind. If the brewed coffee tastes overly watery, weak or thin, make your grind a little finer. A 5lb Bag should yield roughly 11 1-Gallon airpots. If you are brewing smaller batches, the general rule of thumb is: The less coffee being used, the finer the grind can be, so brewing a 2.2 liter airpot would require a finer grind than brewing a 3.8 Liter (1 Gallon) airpot.
Contender Coffee is roasted daily, so you can rest assured that when you receive your coffee, it is fresh.
